Wedding & Event Coordinator
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20-30 per week
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our Field Manor Foundation team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks while providing exceptional guest services. Field Manor is an historic 19th century homestead, museum, and venue on the Indian River Lagoon.

Duties

Maintain strong communication with clients and vendors from the initial tour to the conclusion of the successful event or wedding, ensuring client satisfaction.

Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, floor plans, vendor coordination, and logistics management.

Manage contracts with vendors such as caterers, florists, bakers, rentals, bartenders, and entertainment providers.

Oversee all aspects of the wedding day, ensuring smooth execution from set-up to clean-up.

Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the planning process or on the event day.

Assist in budgeting by tracking expenses and providing recommendations for cost-effective solutions.

Relay event financial data to Director of Marketing and Events in a timely fashion.
Requirements

Experience in events management or planning is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and Field Manor staff and board members.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.

A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for detail.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

The ability to lift 30 pounds.

Willingness to support Field Manor Foundation fundraising promotions.
