This is a Request for Qualifications and for a Proposal to provide Survey Planning/Engineering Services related to developing a comprehensive site plan to include infrastructure planning documents, survey work, a wetland assessment, soil sampling, updated landscaping plan, and development documents for the restoration of Field Manor homestead on Merritt Island, Florida.

 

Along with your proposal, provide a list of similar survey/engineering projects, including project name, client name, project location and date services were provided.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES REQUESTED

 

1. Perform site visit to ascertain existing conditions.

2. Conduct, as necessary, a study/evaluation of the site’s condition. This study should involve assessing wetlands, soil sampling, and survey work.

3. Following the study, provide recommendations for the site.

4. Determine permitting requirements of the local Authority Having Jurisdiction.

5. Develop an exact scope of work; preparation of planning documents. Documents may include as necessary:

   1. Conceptual and/or Schematic design

   2. Design Development and/or Construction Documents necessary for contractor bidding and permitting.

   3. Prepare Bidding Documents

   4. Prepare Permitting Documents

   5. Project Close Out

 

Should the site engineer and/or comprehensive site plan costs run higher than expected, the board will reach out to local donors and conduct fundraisers to bridge the gap.
