Have you ever wanted to experience a hot air balloon ride but didn't know where to start?  You're in luck!  Pilot Kim McCourt will be leading our hot air balloon night and you're invited to join from setup through clean up.

Kim will show the process of what goes into hot air ballooning, and once set up will lead tethered flights for a portion of the evening ($25 per person riding).  Set a reminder in your calendar, because this is an event you won't want to miss!

We highly suggest reserving your flight here, as we can't guarantee a spot without doing so.

Interested?  Below you'll find all the information you'll need!

What is the cost of this event?

The event is free to attend, and if you don't want to ride we still welcome you to join us and watch the beauty of ballooning unfold.

I do want to ride, what is the fee?

A tethered ride is $25 per person, and Kim will take 2 to 3 people per ride. Each ride lasts a few minutes but gives you the opportunity try hot air ballooning and get beautiful pictures from above the trees!

You can purchase your ticket to reserve your ride by clicking here.

What is the date of the event?

Currently, the window of the event is open to three days, May 23rd, 24th and 25th.  As we get closer, Kim will check weather conditions and choose the most suitable day.  This event is entirely weather dependant, so there may always be a slim chance we need to pick a different date altogether.  However, there is a high probability that it will happen on one of the above listed dates.

Are kids allowed?

Absolutely!  If your kids are under the age of five, it may be helpful to explain that the fire inside the balloon is how flight happens and it is entirely safe.  If you plan to fly with your kiddo, consider earplugs if they are sensitive to noise.

Is this a hands on experience?

Yep, and if you'd like to help with setup, we are happy to have volunteers.  Please let us know at check in if you'd like to participate!

I don't want to fly or set up, I just want to watch, is that ok?

Of course!  Bring your comfiest lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the evening earth side.

Have a question we didn't answer?  Email us at fieldmanor@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.
