"Growing up in rural Florida pre-air conditioning with roots in the Italian area of New York city offers Rose a unique perspective on life in general, people in particular. Two monthly columns, presently running in The Happenings newspaper, numerous short stories and articles appearing in such diverse magazines as Woman’s World, Grands, Coastal Angler, RV life magazines, short stories in many of the Space Coast Writers Guild anthologies and three self-published books.

 

One column in The Happenings features a slightly askew look at everyday family life-and another highlighting free or low cost things to do in our little piece of paradise.

 

My books are ‘Are You Sure I Said I Thought This Was A Good Idea?’ is a absolutely true, mostly hilarious, sometimes scary anthology about my husband and myself packing up and moving to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains despite not having a drop of ‘mountain experience’. ‘The Absolute Best Way to Make The Holidays (Almost) Totally Stress Free’ is a month by month compilation filled with hard learned hints and tips on beginning to smooth the road to the holidays if you begin in July. ‘The Blinks’, is children’s book highlighting good versus bad, based on a story that my brother wrote when he was very young.
